The Chaves County Volunteer Fire Services are comprised of eight volunteer Fire
Departments which was established on February 9, 1984.
The Fire Board voting membership consists of the Fire Chiefs of each Chaves County
Fire District and the Municipal Volunteer Chiefs from Dexter, Hagerman and and Lake Arthur
