NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN: That a public hearing will be held by the Planning and Zoning Commission on November 3, 2009 at 5:30 P.M. in the Commissioners' Chambers of the Chaves County Administrative Center-Joseph R. Skeen Building, # 1 St. Mary’s Place to offer the public an opportunity to comment on the items below: Item # 1: Case # Z 2009-2, Request to re-zone from Industrial to Commercial, and a request for a Special Use Permit to allow a RV/ travel trailer as a temporary office. The property is located at 7592 & 7598 Wichita Road, more particularly described as the South 250 ft. of the East 428 ft. of the SE ¼ of Section 4, T14S, R24E. Members of the public having protest and/or comments to offer must submit such protest and/or comments in writing at least one (1) day prior to the public hearing day of the Planning and Zoning Commission meeting to the Chaves County Planning and Zoning Office, P.O. Box 1817, Roswell, NM 88202.
The Chaves County Commissioners will consider the recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Commission when final action is taken November 19, at 9:00 A.M. in the Chaves County Commissioners’ Chambers of the Chaves County Administrative Center-Joseph R. Skeen Building, # 1 St. Mary’s Place. The Commissioners will also consider any other business brought before them.
